How does EnergyQuote.ai handle my data?

What is processed

If you choose ‘Describe my home’, the description you type is sent to our interpretation endpoint and an AI model to infer annual electricity and gas usage, assumptions and tips. Do not include personal names, exact addresses, account numbers or other sensitive information.

The manual home form and known-usage calculations run in your browser. Tariff figures entered for comparison are used in-browser to calculate a result. No account, email address or stored submission is required.

Anonymous aggregate counts

The site counts page visits and completed estimates as anonymous aggregate totals, displayed on the stats page. Those totals are not a record of your household description or result.

Basic server and hosting infrastructure may process technical request information to serve the site. This page describes the product's intended data flow; consult your hosting provider's policies for infrastructure-level retention.

Your choice

If you prefer not to send a description to an AI model, use the non-AI household form or enter your annual kWh. The resulting arithmetic is local to your browser. Avoid entering identifying details in any free-text box.
